There aren't enough cousins to play all the parts so they each got to pick their favorite. Dallin was a shepherd, Kallyn started as an angel and Allison started as Mary. The girls ended up wanting to trade right before we started but their costumes wouldn't stay on. Our baby Jesus was a singing reindeer ("Grandma Got Ran Over by A Reindeer") that kept getting turned on while Granddad read the Story. What a memory!

Christmas Eve in Farmington
We drove from Phoenix to Farmington to spend Christmas with Eric's family. We had a few icy/snowpacked roads that slowed us down, but the worst stretch of road was just a few miles from Farmington to their home. It was terribly icy and we saw alot of cars slide off the road. Crazy!!!! But we made it! And we got to spend Christmas Eve with the rest of the family that drove up from Albuquerque. Kallyn has missed Dallin so much and we were all so excited to finally meet the newest cousins Julia, Laci, and Cole who all turned 1 earlier this month. With the kids finally old enough to get a clue about what Christmas is really for we decided to try the nativity tradition and act out the real Christmas Story from the Bible.
