Old School Memories

These fisher price toys hold many cherished memories of our imaginations busy at work as kids. I was so excited to see that my girls had just as much fun in the long hours they played with them. Kallyn spent a lot of time setting them up to play with then it was bedtime and they had to be put away. She was so sad that no one would play with her. But she was back at it the next morning!!! And sweet Allison and her sorting toys into lines! She collected a few of the cars and got them lined up. Maybe they were going to have a race!
Some of these sets were inherited from my Dad's childhood. Seriously!!! They do not make toys like they used to. If these toys can last from my dad's generation (and I think they were actually used with his older siblings first-he was 1 in 12 kids) to his Grandkids why can't todays toys last from one birthday to the next? Where are we going with all this "New Technology"?
