Thanksgiving was a whole new
holiday for us ths year. Every year since being married we have spent the turkey feasting holiday with Eric's family, either in Flagstaff with his grandmother, or at one the home of one of his family members. This year was spent without family. But it was nearly the best thanksgiving ever because of new friends. We had 4 invitations and tried to make it to three. The Andersons in the ward have had an ongoing tradition of inviting some of the new law student families to their home for dinner. Their daughter was in my Activity Days group and the girls absolutely love her. Then the group of law students got together at the church for dinner and games. We made it there for games and it was so nice because we baracaded the kids in the nursery so we didn't have to worry about them getting into too much trouble. Then we went to the Mechums home for pie! It was quite a busy holiday, but we really got to know so many friends better then just the opurtunities that school and church give us. It really made us gratefull for this new step in our journey and the friendships we have made so far.
